†Keep or obey here is far more reaching than a mere sense of duty. Like two sides of a coin, on one side is the essence of obedience, a deep love (agape) for Christ, and on the other side, the effect of that quality of love for Him is manifested (a willful act) in loving obedience to His commandments (cf. Jn 14:15, 21, 23, 24, 31; 15:10). There is a question by Jesus that needs to be seriously considered by all of us who are claiming Jesus as our Lord, "Now why do you call Me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say" (Lk 6:48, LSB)? Hence, "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments," yes?

*Daily is provided to encourage motion to devotion! These websites are in random order. Ironically, my iconic messenger looking over the signboard is not daily! As far as any disclaimer, the inclusion of resource materials in Daily, excluding the links to the Psalms and Proverbs, is not necessarily affirmed in toto by M-G (2 Tim 2:15); I'm sure the feeling is mutual!

**I do not look to C.S. Lewis for exegetical analysis of Scripture, but at the same time, I choose not to throw out the baby with the bath water.
