We did not evolve but were created in His image. Once the Holy Spirit enters the heart of a repentant believer, from the ruin of that image marred by sin, the Holy Spirit begins to work in and through our faith for an extreme spiritual makeover - to reconstruct us in the image of Christ who is the image of the invisible God (Col 1:15). We are predetermined to be conformed (inward conformity) to the image of His Son (Rom 8:29). This is what growing in grace is all about (2 Pet 3:18). This transformation is a gradual one but ultimately leading to being like Him at His appearing (1 Jn 3:2) – moral, sinless, and glorified. Whose image are you working on right now? <><
