Unhappy is the rich in spirit (cf. Scribes and Pharisees) for God does not reign within their hearts and lives; they were void of submission and emulation. Kingdom living in the here and now is recognizing our spiritual need and humbling ourselves before the sovereignty of God and emulating His will and ways. True happiness is found only in Christ. <><
